Lucknam Park client event!
Bell Events hosted a very special client event at the stunning Lucknam Park in Wiltshire last Friday evening - Laura welcomed five of our lovely clients with their guests for an overnight stay to experience what the hotel has to offer….
The first impression of Lucknam Park can only be described as ‘WOW’!! The mile long, double tree-lined driveway sweeps through a section of the 500 acre estate, revealing the beautiful ‘Palladian mansion' which dates from 1720, as the trees open up at end of the driveway!
Lucknam has that exclusive, luxurious feel, yet manages to feel homely and welcoming. With a total of 42 individually decorated bedrooms & suites it is perfect for exclusive use events, high-end incentives, and senior level meetings. They have a total of 4 function rooms, seating between 8 to 50 delegates.
We started the evening with a champagne reception on the terrace, overlooking the grounds and driveway - once introductions were made and our glasses were topped up we made our way over to the new ‘Cookery School’, which is located in a small house on the estate. The ‘classroom’ has several island units fitted with every kitchen gadget imaginable for guests to learn a variety of skills depending on what you’d like to achieve from the session, there is also a large dining table at the back of the room for guests to enjoy the food they have just made! There is also a breakout area for coffees to be served and a professional kitchen where the chef can demonstrate through video into the classroom.
After discussing lots of food and recipe ideas we were eager to head over to the Michelin starred, ‘Hywel Jones restaurant’ to enjoy our 5 course dinner – which was absolutely delicious, especially when partnered with the perfect wines to complement each course!
After dinner, we finished the evening back on the terrace, enjoying the incredibly warm evening with a drop more wine before heading to our beautiful suites!
The following day, we had breakfast at leisure and were invited to enjoy the leisure facilities and grounds. A number of clients relaxed by the outdoor pool, soaking up the sun whilst others were more energetic and cycled around the estate using Lucknam’s complimentary bikes to explore the grounds and equestrian facilities! They have 35 horses available to ride suiting all sizes and capabilities – we saw a group of children trotting down the driveway – it was a very ‘English’ scene!!
