'Level 16' launch night at the Park Regis Birmingham
On Friday night the Bell Events team stepped back in time to the roaring 20’s to celebrate the launch of Level 16 at the Park Regis.....
The evening featured Charleston dancers, feather bowers and lots of cocktails!
We began with a reception in the beautiful Sky Loft, which has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Birmingham skyline – it looked especially pretty with an orange glow as the sun was setting! Guests were presented their welcome drink from a lovely lady with a champagne flute skirt! The Sky Loft room can accommodate up to 200 in reception - perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a smaller dinner.
Shortly after finishing our drinks we walked through into the main suite - The Sky Gallery, to indulge in a five course dinner. This room again boasts floor to ceiling windows and can accommodate up to 240 banquet. This space is very versatile and would work well for a daytime conference before being turned around for a glamorous gala dinner in the evening – the key feature for the evening event was having a large bar inside the room – we appreciate a number of guests can go missing if the bar is located outside of the dining room, the in-room bar also had a good range of premium draught larger which according to Mr Bell 'makes all the difference'!
Once we'd made our way to the table we were soon poured wine and began our five-course dinner. Our favourite part of the meal was the main, which was a fillet of beef, served with curried cauliflower puree, mushrooms and a port jus.
After dinner the photo booth opened with lots of props available to grab and strike a pose with – we have a number of entertaining shots to put up in the office!! Later on in the evening Laura and Bobby ventured on to the dance floor to learn the Charleston with other guests - before being shown by the pros how to do it properly!! Sarah and Becca soon joined them on the dancefloor where we danced the night away before retiring to our bedrooms!
Thank you very much to the team at the Park Regus for a fabulous evening, it was a great showcase of the stunning new event space – we’d definitely recommend!
