Billesley Manor Client Trip

We hosted a fantastic client trip at the historic Billesley Manor on the evening of Friday the 20th October. Laura welcomed four of our lovely clients with their guests for a special evening to experience the hotel.

‘We began the night with a gin reception, which was then followed by a site visit of the whole venue, starting with the meeting rooms. Six of the meeting rooms are located in the main part of the hotel, including the Topiary Room, which has a max capacity of 100 in theatre. The remaining 6 meeting rooms are located opposite the hotel in two historic barns that keeps with the 16th Century theme of the main house. The barns are great for private meetings as they can be kept separate from the other guests staying at the hotel and gives a feeling of exclusivity. The largest room within the barns is the Ragley Room, which has a max capacity of 60 in theatre and has the most amazing exposed wooden beams, which gives it that farmhouse feel. Following on from the meeting rooms, we were shown the restaurant, spa and some of the 11 acres of grounds and beautiful gardens, which also features an 11th Century church.

We then made our way to the Library – a fascinating historic fact about this room is that it is the room Shakespeare allegedly wrote his famous comedy ‘As you like it! Here we enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner of seared scallops, smoked pig cheeks and strawberries and cream to finish! After many hours of conversation and a few glasses of wine later we all retired to our bedrooms. We were all treated to Billesley’s feature rooms that include Tudor panelling and overlooked the beautiful topiary gardens, which are over 100 years old!

After a comfy nights sleep, we were able to enjoy the facilities at leisure on Saturday with a couple of the guests taking the opportunity to have spa treatments and swim before making their way home!

One of the clients invited to the client trip, researched Billesley Manor after being invited to join the experience and sent us an enquiry for the venue. The event was allocated the Arden Suite, which is located in one of the barns. It has now been contracted and will be going ahead on the 6th December this year!'

Following on from the client trip, we have received lovely notes and thank yous from the clients who attended:-

“Thank you so much for inviting me and hosting myself and Lyndsey at Billesley Manor last weekend. It was great to see the venue – especially the business event rooms in the outdoor buildings. We also had a fantastic time socialising, meeting some lovely people and sampling the food, drinks and spa. We loved it!”
