Luxurious Luton Hoo Client Trip

On Friday 18th September we welcomed 5 clients and their guests at the stunning Luton Hoo, situated on the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire border.

To kick start the weekend we met in the Great Hall from where we were collected by one of Luton’s private onsite taxis and chauffeur driven a short distance along the estate roads to our champagne drinks reception at the 'Warren Weir'. We then had a tour of this venue which can be hired for exclusive use and is set less then a 5 minute drive away from the Mansion House. The venue comprises of 4 rooms with the largest having a maximum capacity of 388 in theatre style, it also boats it’s very own private swimming pool, snooker room and 84 spacious bedrooms all located around a courtyard car park so very accessible and easy to keep delegates all together!

We then drove onto the courtyard area of the stables to see 'The 19th' and 'Adams Brasserie'. The 19th is perfect for a light lunch or afternoon snack and also serves a variety of different drinks to enjoy! Adams Brasserie offers a great menu with a range of both imaginative and classic dishes with a laid back atmosphere for those who would prefer a more relaxed dinner.

We then returned to the main Mansion House where we enjoyed Cosmopolitans and Bellini cocktails in the Pillared Hall before being moving to our private dining room. We enjoyed a starter of Tortellini of Wild Mushroom with wilted spinach, roasted walnuts and tarragon crème fraiche, followed by a palette cleanser of raspberry and vanilla sorbet to prepare us for the perfectly cooked Roast fillet of Casterbridge beef with potato dauphinoise, grilled artichoke and roast vine tomato and truffle jus. To finish we had treacle and roast pine nut tart with ice cream and black cherry jelly, safe to say it was an absolutely amazing meal enjoyed by everyone. To end the evening, we headed back into the Pillared Hall for a nightcap before heading off to enjoy a nights stay in our stunning mansion house bedrooms, which were on a truly grand scale with exceptionally high ceilings.

The next morning was a relaxing one, with guests enjoying a full English or continental breakfast in the fine dining Wernher Restaurant and enjoying the onsite spa facilities such as the pool and sauna before departing Luton Hoo and heading home.
